Genesis is SO happy to be open and welcoming our clients back! I’d like to explain to each of you what we are doing to keep our clients and our staff safe. First, we are obviously asking anybody who feels sick to stay home. This includes our staff and so we hope that you, our clients, will understand if we cancel your appointment at the last minute. If this were to occur, we will work hard to get you rescheduled as soon as possible. However, I assume that you would rather not have a sick provider and so I am insisting that staff not come into work, even if they are only experiencing mild symptoms. In return, I am asking that our clients cancel their appointments if they feel ill. In addition, if you are in a high-risk category, please don’t schedule an appointment with us until your primary care physician tells you it is safe for you to be in public.

Genesis staff is wearing masks at all times and we are asking our clients to wear a mask until in their treatment room. Staff is also frequently disinfecting common areas for everyone’s safety. We are scheduling extra time for appointments in order to completely disinfect treatment rooms in between each client. We are only allowing one client at a time into our product testing area and they must be accompanied by a staff person. The make-up area will remain closed until further notice.

Our waiting area has been allowed to reopen (with under ten people in it at any given time). However, if you feel more comfortable waiting in your car until your treatment room is ready, please just call our front desk when you park and let us know that is what you are doing. We will then call or text you when your provider is ready to walk you back to the room.

We are not putting our flavored water or Keurig in the waiting areas. However, beverages are available upon request, so please let the front desk staff know if you would like something. We have also taken most of the displays down from the tabletops in the treatment rooms. Be sure to let us know if there are any services or products for which you would like more information.

Sadly, our fun events cannot yet resume. The entire Genesis staff miss hosting Botox Bingo, Wine & Wisdoms and Casino Night! We are planning to hold our Birthday Week in August, since that entails special pricing on all services (and yummy cupcakes) that don’t require large groups to gather in our facility. I obviously do not know when our events will be able to take place and I want to be sure that Genesis does not do anything that jeopardizes the health and safety of our community.

Genesis has always prided itself on a high level of cleanliness and commitment to safety. We continue to maintain those high standards. Despite these being times of uncertainty, I am sure that we are doing everything possible to keep you, our important clients, safe.
