an initial consultation, your service and/or treatment begins by
slipping into a comfortable robe, which we provide. There are no
cell phones, children or other disturbances allowed so that you
may enjoy the spa without interruption.

Dr.
Lisa Jenks, MD
Genesis MedSpa Medical Director
Lisa Jenks received her medical degree from the University Of Cincinnati in 1986.
She did her residency at Mt. Carmel Hospital and Columbus Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio
and then worked as an emergency room physician in both Ohio and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
After the birth of her and her husband, Jeff's, third child, Dr. Jenks became a full-time mom.
During those years, she volunteered at Peak Vista and at SET, providing medical care to the indigent.
In addition, she served on the Board of Directors of the YMCA and ComCor, a community corrections agency.
She was President of ComCor's Board from 1992 - 1994.
After her children were grown Dr. Jenks became trained and certified in aesthetic medicine.
In August, 2007 she opened Genesis MedSpa.
In its first three years, Genesis has grown into one of the premier medical spas in Colorado Springs.
Genesis, under Dr. Jenks' guidance, won the prestigious BBB's Excellence in Customer Service award in 2010.
In addition, Genesis has won numerous awards in "Best Of" contests within Colorado Springs.
Dr.
Anne Bode, MD
Staff Physician Dr. Anne Bode is a board certified physician who has undergone additional training to become certified in injectable and laser procedures. After investigating the world of aesthetic medicine she decided she would like to work at Genesis Medspa in order to help clients achieve the look and feel that they desire. She is thrilled to be working with such talented and compassionate colleagues.
Her life outside of medicine is dedicated to caring for her three young sons and spending time with her husband, Dr. Eric Bode.
Michele
Pribble
Regional Marketing Director
Michele has a degree in business administration and management
from Colorado State University. Her experience includes positions
in personnel coordination, party-planning and customer service.
She joined Genesis MedSpa as the regional marketing director in
2007. Michele and her husband have three daughters.
Dawn Leyba
Certified Aesthetician Dawn graduated from International Salon and Spa Academy in Colorado Springs and has earned certifications in Chemical Resurfacing, Microdermabrasion and aesthetic laser procedures. Dawn has held several position as a laser tech and Aesthetician throughout the Springs and greatly enjoys working in a medical setting.
Sarah Alber
Certified Aesthetician Sarah Graduated from International Salon and Spa Academy in Colorado Springs, where she received her aesthetician license. Sarah has also earned certifications in chemical resurfacing, microdermabrasion and aesthetic laser procedures. Sarha enjoys working in a medical setting as an aesthetician and is excited to be part of the Genesis staff.
Diane Crochet
Receptionist Graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in psychology and has worked in the human service field since 1987. Prior to coming to Genesis, Diane coordinated the Mayor’s 100 Teens program. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, Gabrielle and Olivia. Her hobbies include jewelry making and scrapbooking. “I love the Genesis family and couldn’t think of a better place to work!”
Nicole Burns
Receptionist/Office Manager Nicole graduated from Doherty High School as well as the International Beauty Academy. She has previous experience as a front desk receptionist and customer service representative. A mother to a beautiful 3 year old daughter, Nicoleis excited to be part of Genesis Medspa.
Jennifer Catrambone Certified Aesthetician
Jennifer graduated from Catherine Hinds School of Aesthetics in Woburn,
Massachusetts. She is certified in chemical resurfacing, microdermabrasion
and aesthetic laser procedures. Before moving to Colorado Springs with her
husband and two small boys, she worked for a facial plastic surgeon.
Jennifer comes with over 10 years of experience and is excited to be part of
the Genesis staff.
Cat Eli Receptionist
Cat moved to Colorado in 1990 and considers this her home. She's been a
military brat and wife for 98% of her life. Her background is in sales,
marketing and retail management, and is currently studying psychology.
She's a proud mother and wife, loves hiking, skiing, and coming back home
after traveling as much as possible. She serves on two local nonprofits
whose collective goal is to save lives. Cat is "ecstatic about being one
of the Genesis family."
Sonia Sawyer Medical Esthetician
Sonia takes skin very seriously and strives to provide excellent care with
valid results by using a proactive approach. With 10 years of experience,
Sonia invests a tremendous amount of time keeping up to date with the most
advanced techniques in dermatologic and aesthetic skincare. This effort
translates into amazing skin transformations for our patients. Her thoughts
and concern are added to each regimen prescribed and these effective
treatment plans are evident as you leave our practice feeling educated,
confident and excited about your skin.
Kerrie Kim Physician Assistant
Kerrie Kim is a Physician Assistant who has undergone additional training
to become certified in injectable and laser procedures. Kerrie graduated
from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2002 and earned
her Master of Physician Assistant Studies Degree from the University of
Nebraska in 2009. Kerrie is very excited to join the Team at Genesis
Medspa to help clients achieve their personal goals.
